Ingredients
- One Hard-boiled Egg
- One Avocado
- Wasa Multi-grain Cracker
- Jacobsen Flake Salt
- Olive Oil
Hard boil an egg to your liking; I prepare a half-dozen at a time, to use for snacks throughout the week. Simply fill a pot with water, add a small handful of salt, and bring the water to a boil. Gently drop your eggs into the rolling boil for six minutes. Once drained and cooled, peel one of the hard-boiled eggs, slice it into fours, and place it into a bowl.
Take a ripe avocado, slice it in half, remove the seed and add the meat to the bowl.
Use a fork to chop up the egg and avocado until combined, yet chunky.
Take the mixture and spread it on your cracker (I like to use the Wasa Multigrain).
Finish with salt and a high-quality olive oil of your choice.
Depending on your mood and preference, you can add a squeeze of lemon, a few drops of hot sauce or top with chili flakes.
