5 Ways To Limit The Dangers of EMF Radiation And Why It's So Important For Your Health

Remember in the 50's when we were told that cigarettes didn't cause cancer?

And yet, many people were dying of lung cancer. Decades later, after millions of deaths, a label was slapped on packets of cigarettes to warn users about their detrimental effects on health. 

Deja Vu.

We are here again.

A similar story is unfolding with something so close and persona. It's in your home, your office, your outlets, your pockets.  It's physically out of sight, we can't see it, but not entirely out of mind. It affects your brain, your mood, your sleep, your cells.

Electromagnetic fields.

A simple Google search is confusing. It's like asking Google what diet you should be on, or who you should be dating. You have many people saying that it's not dangerous, and many abide to the government's safe limits which are dangerously high, according to the many scientists that have been very outspoken about the true risks of radiation.

What are electromagnetic Fields (EMF's)?

Every creature on Earth is surrounded by natural frequencies beneficial to health. That's because the earth emits natural electromagnetic fields. Fun fact: Did you know foxes are the first animals thought to use earth's magnetic fields to judge distance not just direction to hunt? Bees do it too, and birds.

Earth's magnetic field is vital to life on our planet. It is a complex and dynamic force that protects us from cosmic radiation and charged particles from the Sun. 

Today’s modern technologies have led to the arrival of non-native electromagnetic fields, or EMF’s. These disturb the function and internal systems of all living things. Excessive exposure to EMF radiation in our daily lives is inescapable and can cause serious health problems. 

The music is too loud

Anytime you have the movement of charged particles you create an electromagnetic field. Electromagnetism is the foundation of life, it’s what controls biochemistry.

It's like walking into a room with music playing so loud from every direction. You wouldn't be able to communicate with other, and if you speak nobody would be able to understand you or hear you.

This is what our cells are experiencing when exposed to EMF environments. They can’t function properly and they become very stressed. Energy, light waves and sound waves are converted into vibrations. In the cell these vibrations alter molecular structure and function. Every cell, every organelle, every molecule resonates at certain frequencies and are affected when they are out of their frequencies.

Both electric and magnetic fields materialize naturally inside our bodies in combination with muscle and nerve activity. We experience the magnetic and electric fields from the earth as well. It has been shown that the bombardment of manmade electromagnetic fields in our environment, which occur at amplitudes that can be millions of times stronger than the subtle fields our bodies and the earth produce. 

Where are they?

Smart meters, baby monitors, smart TV's, cell phones, laptops, computers, iPads, bluetooth speakers, Airpods, cell towers, electrical towers, outlets... basically all electronics and anything that uses electricity. Some devices emit more dangerous frequencies that others. An electrical distribution tower outside of your home will emit 10,000 V/m compared to your microwave 14 V/m. And yet, anything above 10 V/m is a concern. 

 

What happens when we are surrounded by electronics all day long, but not the natural magnetic fields of the earth?

Observations of people staying in space for a long time indicate that lack of a natural magnetic field causes insomnia, fatigue, and depression, and increases the risk of osteoporosis (Zowlinzka, 2016)

And this is what has been seen across the world. 

Let’s give that a little bit of perspective.

Science speaks 

The Bioinitiative Report, which I hope you are familiar with, was a report written by 14 scientists from around the world, that summarized the findings of hundreds of studies related to the biological effects of EMF radiation on the body. In 2012, 29 scientists in total updated the report after reviewing 1800 additional studies, eventually publishing a nearly 1500 word report on these dangers.

 

We are just big giant batteries...

Some of the effects of EMF exposure:

Flooding of Calcium: EMF's have the effect of overstimulating our voltage-gated calcium channels and causing a phenomenon called calcium channel flooding. This results in small holes in the the cell membrane that leak substances into and out of the cell into places where they shouldn’t be, causing a large number of potential health problems. Heart issues are associated with this, since flooding of calcium causes the heart and arteries to contract more strongly.

The fix: “Magnesium is a natural calcium-channel blocker; as long as there is adequate magnesium inside cells, damaging calcium influx does not occur. The need for calcium-channel blockers arises from the breakdown of cell membrane integrity, which is in turn caused by a magnesium deficiency.”

Mitochondria Dysfunction: The powerhouse of your cells, the ones that do so much more than to give you energy, are affected by artificial EMF's. They cause structural damage to mitochondria such as swelling cavitation and eventually the mitochondria begin to degenerate. This happens an as little as a few hours. These leads to chronic diseases, low energy, sleeping disorders, hair loss, chronic stress, and the list goes on. 

The fix: Turn off and unplug all electronics when not in use. Unplug your WIFI at night when sleeping on when not using for long periods of time.

Treat this for what it is, radiation. If you have children, please read the conclusions to the Bioinitiative Report I just mentioned

The Presidential Cancer Panel (2010) found that children ‘are at special risk due to their smaller body mass and rapid physical development, both of which magnify their vulnerability to known carcinogens, including radiation.
