Chronic inflammation is widely discussed in medical circles as it is the cause of numerous health problems. As we learn more about inflammation, it becomes increasingly clear how it affects the body. Furthermore, medical professionals and nutritionists are pinpointing new ways to treat this condition in a natural manner without the use of medications.

Chronic inflammation is a natural occurrence in which the body combats something it perceives as harmful such as a toxin, injury or infection. Inflammation is triggered in an attempt to heal the body. This process involves the release of chemicals that spur a response from the body’s immune system.

The most common signs that your body is plagued by chronic inflammation include:

Causes of Chronic Inflammation

Inflammatory cells that linger in blood vessels for an extended period of time lead to the accumulation of harmful plaque.
